Why Punched or Perforated Roller Shutters?

Manufactured in-house. Expert Installation. Ongoing Support.

For a cost effective roller shutter that provides security, visibility, and air flow, you don’t need to look any further than a punched or perforated roller shutter.

Our punched and perforated shutters are variations of most of our steel and aluminium profiles, including some of the high security options.

This means that they are a versatile option for a broad range of premises including retail units and car parks.

If a shutter can be perforated, then it can also be punched, so depending on whether your priorities are visibility or air flow we can put something together that will meet your needs.

How Do Perforated & Punched Shutters Work?

Perforated and Punched roller shutters are created out of single skin aluminium or steel profiles where the lath is run through a perforating or punching machine before being rolled into its profile.

There are lots of different options for perforation and punching, allowing for stylistic decisions to be made.

It is possible for punching and perforation to be different sizes, meaning that the amount of light, visibility, and airflow to pass through.
